Teresa Dolls

When I was a little girl, my sister would always get Barbie and I would get Teresa. My sister would get Skipper, and I would get Courtney. I loved it this way, I always felt like I could relate more to Teresa for some reason. She had brown hair, like me. She was Hispanic and I always loved my Hispanic heritage.

I found out about Lace and Lights Teresa on a forum I was looking at where people were talking about Steffie faced Barbies. She was not very favored, but I absolutely adore her. I love her bright blue outfit, her purple lipstick. I love that she's retro, and reminds me of my childhood.

On another note, my husband was showing me Barbie clothes on Amazon today that he wanted to buy for my dolls. I just have to say, I'm blessed to have such a supportive husband. He told me he's proud of me for collecting Barbies again after losing all my old Barbies in a storage sale that we didn't know about. I felt so sad after it happened, I wanted nothing to do with Barbies. Now I'm slowly rebuilding my collection, reliving my childhood through these dolls. I am so grateful.

I know my blog posts are slightly short, but I have kids and I'm a college student again so my free time is limited. That said, I do love having this blog and I'm grateful to have an outlet to share how I'm feeling.
